Thank you for visiting my website!
I have just decided to add a blog because I know parents/guardians often ask their children,
"So, what did you learn today?"
And the answer is too often,
"I don't know"
or something of the like, my hopes are to update this Blog often and let you all know what we are working on in class so that you can ask more
specific questions and have more
meaningful discussions.
I would love to read any comments you have about the subjects we are covering and/or the discussions you are having at home around them.
Anyone is welcome to join in the conversation...students/family...everyone
So...here we go!
Over the past two months we have learned a lot!
---how many different ways can you make $1.00 using different coins?
---we read about Rick Hanson and his new tour
---we learned about Space Junk and how there are bits of garbage floating around space
---we have have also enjoyed talking about other things that have come up in conversation like the difference between technical school and university/ Occupy Vancouver/ any news items the students bring up
